Keep these documents ready before you start — it makes your Malaysia eVisa application faster and smoother.
The Malaysia eVisa and eNTRI have a simple, fully-online document checklist. Indian citizens should have the following ready before starting the application — having clear, correct documents is the key to fast approval.
Here's exactly what each document means and how to get it right, so your Malaysia visa application is approved without delays.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival in Malaysia and have at least two blank pages. A clear colour scan of the bio-data page is required.
A recent passport-size colour photo with a plain white background, taken within the last 6 months, with your full face clearly visible.
A confirmed onward or return flight ticket showing you will leave Malaysia within the permitted period of stay.
Hotel booking confirmation or an address of stay in Malaysia, along with your travel itinerary.
A recent bank statement showing sufficient funds to cover your trip (required for some applicants).
Beyond your visa documents, every traveller must submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within 3 days before arriving in Malaysia — including Indian nationals travelling visa-free. The MDAC records your passport, flight and accommodation details and is checked at immigration. We can complete and submit it for you to avoid delays on arrival.
